Thirty community spirited people from the North Country were given a Kindling award.
Adirondack Community Foundation recently announced the winners of the Kindling Awards. According to the foundation, the award celebrates people who keep the spirit of community alive. Jennifer Russell, a Vice President with ACF, said they received more than 100 nominations. Each of the 30 award winers selected a local organization to receive a $1,000 grant in their honor.
