Lake Placid Film Festival

Many of the short film finalists in the 24th annual film festival were made in upstate New York.

The Lake Placid Film Festival has announced that 30 finalists have been selected for the 2025 “Your Shorts Are Showing” short film program. Organizers say half of the films were made in upstate NY. Adirondack Film’s Director, Sarah Patton, says “This year’s selected films are some of the most powerful and riveting short films we’ve ever screened at the festival.” The selected short films will be screened on October 31 and November first as part of the 24th edition of The Adirondacks’ premier film festival.
