ORDA is reporting a study shows Lake Placid will have reliable weather for winter sports for years.
A study cited by the Olympic Regional Development authority showed that Lake Placid is one of only four previous Olympic Winter Games locations that will remain reliable weatherwise for winter sports through the middle of this century. ORDA says the study used information from a survey of elite winter sport athletes and coaches to identify conditions needed for training and competition.
