The NY State program for Veterans going to college has expanded.
The New York State’s Veterans Tuition Awards Program has expanded according to the Governor’s office. The expansion will enable more veterans to access financial aid for college. Now, all veterans who served at least four years on active-duty qualify for full-tuition awards. Previously, only veterans who served in combat or a specific combat theater were eligible to receive the Veterans Tuition Awards.
