The Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation has updated a map of recreation options in NY.
A new map of state parks is the first update since 2017. Additions include recently opened and renamed parks, as well as the 750-mile Empire State Trail. Along with the new facility listings, more direct information about recreational opportunities like camping, wildlife encounters and swimming have been added. The map makes it easier for New Yorkers to engage with state parks, recreational trails and boat launches.
