The 2026 Empire Pass for state park visits is now available according to the office of Parks and Recreation.

The $80 Empire Pass provides unlimited day-use vehicle entry to New York State Parks, state boat launch sites, park preserves and Department of Environmental Conservation Forest preserves. In addition to the single season pass, the state offers Three- and five-season passes and the Lifetime Empire Passport with no expiration date. Seniors, over 62, are eligible for the Golden Park Program and veterans who qualify may acquire a Lifetime Liberty Pass.
