All Counties in the North Country region reported an increase in sales tax collection except Clinton County.
According to data provided by the State Comptroller's office, Clinton County was down 6.5% in sales tax collection compared to last year. Essex County was up 3.5% and Franklin County saw a jump of 10%. The Comptroller's office says the entire North Country region was up 7.2% compared to the same time last year.
