It’s the start of a busy travel week for drivers who are expected to hit the road this Thanksgiving, and gas prices in New York have risen slightly across the board. AAA projects 73.3 million people will travel by car, which is nearly 90 percent of Thanksgiving travelers. That figure could end up being higher if air travelers experience cancelled flights or choose to drive to avoid airports.
