The Department of Environmental Conservation wants people to plant trees and record the planting on the newly launched "Tree Tracker" site. Those who upload the information will be entered in a 25 million trees sweepstakes. Also, free "Tree Tracker Tags" are available on the DEC website which have a scannable QR code that links to the online "Tree Tracker".
