Cashman Raises Concerns About Care at Clinton Nursing Home

Assemblyman Michael Cashman is calling attention to allegations of poor care at the Clinton Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Plattsburgh. Cashman says his office has received numerous complaints from families of residents. He attended a residents council meeting in July and contacted facility management but says he has received no response. Cashman says he has also contacted the state Health Department, Attorney General’s Office and Comptroller’s Office. He is urging families with concerns to report them to the state Health Department at 888-201-4563. The allegations have not been independently verified.
