Clinton County has certified ballots for the November 3 general election. Contested county races include sheriff, surrogate court judge and coroner. Plattsburgh voters will decide three Common Council contests and a proposed city charter revision. The Ward 3 council race will be decided by write-in votes because no candidates filed petitions. Two propositions in the town of Clinton would make the town clerk and tax collector appointed positions. Early voting begins October 24.
