The St. Mary’s Academy Class of 1961 recently celebrated its 65th reunion at the Butcher Block restaurant in Plattsburgh. The class was the first to combine eighth-grade students from St. Mary’s in Champlain and St. Patrick’s in Rouses Point. Eight classmates attended the reunion, which featured photographs from past gatherings, a tribute to deceased classmates and a cake decorated in the school colors.
