The Adirondack North Country Association says it helped secure more than 935 thousand dollars in state and federal grants over the past two years. The funding supported 70 projects across 13 northern New York counties, including home repairs, energy upgrades and farm expansion. Locally, Scotts Florist in Saranac Lake replaced inefficient flower coolers, while Tupper Lake’s ADK Food Hub improved lighting, insulation and doors. Other awards funded solar installations, childcare center improvements and repairs to 13 homes.
