Plattsburgh’s final Parks Come Alive event of the season is set for Thursday from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. at South Acres Park. A ribbon-cutting ceremony for new playground equipment and park improvements begins at 6. The free, family-friendly event will feature more than 30 community organizations, live music from Quasimojo, food vendors, a three-on-three basketball tournament, face painting, caricatures and a photo booth. A limited number of five-dollar food vouchers will also be available.
