Plattsburgh officials are considering new rules aimed at improving bicycle and e-bike safety in the city. Police Chief Jarrod Trombley says officers have been focusing on education, particularly with young riders and parents, while city leaders consider possible enforcement measures. A second public bike safety forum is scheduled for September 10 at 6 p.m. at the Riverside Pavilion on Durkee Street. Officials say the goal is to address safety concerns before serious accidents occur.
