Plattsburgh Police Investigate Death Found In Yard

Plattsburgh Police are investigating after a 42 year old man was found dead in a yard at the intersection of McKinley Avenue and South Peru Street. Officers responded early Thursday morning and found Benjamin Perron of Plattsburgh, who was pronounced dead at the scene by emergency personnel. Authorities say the area was secured and processed for evidence before reopening later that morning.
Police say there is no immediate threat to the public and no clear signs of criminal activity, calling the case an isolated incident as the investigation continues.
