Student Charged After Bomb Threat Scare At Long Lake School

A 13 year old student is facing charges after a bomb threat scare at Long Lake Central School. State Police say the student walked through the school with a calculator modified to look like a device with wires, claiming it was a bomb or a “bomb defuser,” and told others an explosive had been planted. Authorities say the threats were false, but the student allegedly used the device to intimidate classmates. The case has been charged as making a threat of mass harm.
