Plattsburgh Police Report Multiple Arrests

Plattsburgh police reported several arrests between last Tuesday and Sunday. Shaim Juneau, Marie Miner and Tyrel Laroe face DWI charges. Owen Gray was charged with public urination and possessing a forged instrument, while Shawn Benware also faces a public urination charge. Rebecca Drollette was charged with criminal contempt, Glad Mbobingando with petit larceny and Kayden Brant with possessing a stolen vehicle. Rupesh Naik faces a harassment charge, John Harrington was charged with underage alcohol possession, Richmond Clark and Susan Hathaway face noise violations, and Hathaway’s case involved a domestic animal.

Plattsburgh Charter Changes Headed to Voters

Plattsburgh voters will decide proposed City Charter revisions on November 3rd. Proposition One would update budgeting, financial oversight, council procedures and long-term planning while creating an Emergency Disaster Relief Services Commission. Existing mayoral and council term limits would remain unchanged. If approved, the revisions would take effect January 1st.
