The Ninth Annual Evening of Healing: Stories of Strength returns on Monday, April 14, at the Newman Center in Plattsburgh, offering a free, public event from 6-7:30 p.m. The event provides a platform for community members to connect and share experiences of resilience following pain and loss, fostering healing and hope. The panel, featuring remarkable stories of strength, includes Iasia Mosley, Michele Armani-Munn, Thom and Jackie Hallock, and more, with discussions led by committee members who have overcome personal trauma. The evening will also highlight the recipients of the "Be The One" Scholarship, which encourages high school seniors to raise awareness about mental health and suicide prevention.
