• SUNY Plattsburgh ACE Program Reports Strong Student Results

  SUNY Plattsburgh says its ACE program is improving academic performance for first-generation and Pell Grant-eligible students. Nearly 95 percent of more than 300 participants were in good academic standing last spring, while about 66 percent had grade-point averages of 3.0 or higher. The program provides advising, mentoring and financial help for textbooks, groceries and transportation.

  A boil water order was issued Friday for 3 through 15 Battery Street and 45 Pine Street in Plattsburgh following an emergency water main repair.
