• Rouses Point Woman Arrested After Domestic Dispute

  New York State Police have arrested 37 year old Chelsey L. McDonough of Rouses Point following a domestic dispute on Champlain Street. Troopers allege McDonough assaulted the victim, damaged property and stole several items before leaving the scene. She was charged with assault, criminal mischief and petit larceny, then jailed on an active arrest warrant.

• New York DMV Recognized for Communications and Organ Donation Efforts

  The New York State Department of Motor Vehicles has received national recognition for its public communications and organ donation efforts. The agency earned two awards from the American Association of Motor Vehicle Administrators for encouraging more customers to join the state’s organ donor registry.

  Two Clinton County graduating seniors have been awarded 2026 Off-Track Betting scholarships.
