Cashman Launches 2026 Summer Reading Challenge

Assemblyman Michael Cashman has announced the 2026 Summer Reading Challenge for students across the 115th Assembly District. Children who read at least 15 minutes a day for 40 days between today and Aug. 31 will receive a certificate, with top readers in each county eligible to win a local bookstore gift card.
Rouses Point Woman Arrested After Domestic Dispute

New York State Police have arrested 37 year old Chelsey L. McDonough of Rouses Point following a domestic dispute on Champlain Street. Troopers allege McDonough assaulted the victim, damaged property and stole several items before leaving the scene. She was charged with assault, criminal mischief and petit larceny, then jailed on an active arrest warrant.
New York DMV Recognized for Communications and Organ Donation Efforts

Two Clinton County graduating seniors have been awarded 2026 Off-Track Betting scholarships.
