New Marker Honors Rouses Point Founder

A new historic marker now identifies the site of Rouses Point founder Jacques Rouse’s second home near the Sportsmen’s Pier on Montgomery Street. The marker was unveiled Saturday as part of the Town of Champlain’s America 250 celebration. Officials also announced that three new historic interpretive panels will soon be installed in the village.
