Plattsburgh Police Release Weekly Arrest Report

The Plattsburgh Police Department reports three recent arrests. Police say 27 year old Christopher D. Pierce of Plattsburgh was charged with petit larceny following an incident on Broad Street. 29 year old Taylorr L. Spear of Plattsburgh was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance on Broad Street. Also arrested was Chelsea E. Pecore of Plattsburgh, who faces a trespassing charge following an incident on McGaulley Avenue. All three were issued appearance tickets and released pending court action.

Honor Flight Sends Veterans to Washington

Twenty-eight North Country veterans departed Plattsburgh Saturday on Honor Flights 70 and 71 to Washington, D-C. Among them were brothers Gary and Elmer Durant, who served during the Vietnam era.
