A New York Senate resolution designated this week as Medicolegal Professional week in New York State.
This week the NY State senate is recognizing Medicolegal Death Investigation Professionals. Senator Dan Stec introduced and the senate passed a resolution making January 25 through the 31st Medicolegal Week. A contingent of medicolegal investigators visited the Senate chamber last week for the presentation of the resolution, including Clinton County Coroner, Chad Deans and Essex County Coroner Jay Heald. Senator Stec said, “These individuals perform a valuable role in our law enforcement.”
