Bass Tournaments, Watercross Return to Plattsburgh

Lake Champlain will host a full slate of major summer events beginning July 18, including several national bass fishing tournaments and the return of East Coast Watercross July 31st through August 2nd. Organizers expect more than 2,000 competitors and visitors to boost tourism and local businesses across the Plattsburgh area.

  • Hydrant Flushing Begins Monday in Plattsburgh

    The City of Plattsburgh will begin flushing fire hydrants Monday throughout the city. Work will take place weekdays from 7 a.m. until 2 p.m. until the system is complete. Residents may notice cloudy or rust-colored water and are urged to avoid washing clothes or bathing while flushing is underway.
