Hydrant Flushing Begins Monday in Plattsburgh

The City of Plattsburgh will begin flushing fire hydrants Monday throughout the city. Work will take place weekdays from 7 a.m. until 2 p.m. until the system is complete. Residents may notice cloudy or rust-colored water and are urged to avoid washing clothes or bathing while flushing is underway.

37 year old Chelsey L. McDonough of Rouses Point faces misdemeanor charges of assault, criminal mischief, and petit larceny following a reported domestic dispute.
