A new marker at Port Douglas Cemetery in Keeseville honors three Revolutionary War veterans. The Anderson Falls Heritage Society unveiled it Tuesday on Highland Road, recognizing Rufus Norton, Asahel Strong and Joshua Wells Junior. All three are buried there, with burials dating from 1812 to 1855. The William G. Pomeroy Foundation funded the marker through its Patriot Burials program. The dedication included music, a wreath ceremony and a moment of silence.
