Richards Library Marks 125 Years After Restoration

Richards Library in Warrensburg is celebrating its 125th anniversary following restoration work after a sprinkler malfunction flooded the historic building earlier this year. Richards Library in Warrensburg is celebrating its 125th anniversary following restoration work after a sprinkler malfunction flooded the historic building earlier this year. Assemblyman Matt Simpson marked the anniversary with an Assembly proclamation and announced 60-thousand dollars in new grant assistance. Simpson had also secured 130-thousand dollars last year for renovations and improvements. The anniversary celebration included live music, games, exhibits and the dedication of a time capsule.
